A Forgotten Lot Becomes a Neighborhood Pocket Park
BEFORE
There was a weedy, trash-strewn lot at the end of our block that had been ignored for years. It was just… there. And everyone walked past it like it was invisible.
AFTER
We pulled together neighbors, a few grants, and a ton of energy. Today it’s a micro-park with benches, native flowers, and a little free library. It’s brought new life — and new friendships — to our street.
