A Retired Skateboard Finds New Life on My Wall

BEFORE

My old skateboard — the one I rode almost daily as a teen — finally cracked down the middle. I couldn’t bring myself to trash it, even though I hadn’t skated in years.

AFTER

I sanded it, painted it with my favorite quote — “Keep Moving Forward” — and mounted it on my wall above my desk. Now it’s a reminder that every chapter rolls into the next, even if the wheels stop spinning. Life’s momentum never really ends.
